Tape Duplication Machine!

Thanks, Brent, for driving all the way to Chattanooga for this beauty:

1-to-3 stereo duplication at 16x speed? Yeah, that's a lot nicer than 1-to-1 duplication at 1x speed.

We should name this thing. Any suggestions?

TSC Cassette #2 Covers!

A sneak peak at our upcoming cassette release of The George Lucas Prequel Edition (Bring on the cease and desist!). We're going to make a few different covers. And yeah, we spelled prequel wrong on these prototypes, but that's the beauty of liquid paper.

Uh oh. Where's the tapes?

So we released our first cassette to little fanfare last week. Instead of trumpets, it sounded like your nephew humming through wax paper on a comb. But hey, it's fun to release things, right?

Then we accidentally left our box of cassettes at the Little Hamilton Collective. I called them, but they don't know where they are.

So if you see someone who has our cassette, and their names are not Joshua, Vance, Grace, or Landon, then please ask them where they got it and let us know.

Question: Are tapes really a theft-risk? Tooooooo funny!

Bring Back Cassettes!

During my freshman year of college, I wrote a song called "Something Simple". The chorus went:

Bring back cassettes
Something simple
From my youth
That I hold onto
Analog is not so bad
To convert, just press the tab

Now, ten years or so later, I'm releasing my first cassette. It'll have three songs recorded by Grayson Harper. They are:

1. A History Lesson At The End Of The World
2. Don't Love It So
3. Withe

The songs are pretty short, yeah. So if you buy this cassette, you may wonder why it's on a 45-minute tape instead of a more appropriate 15-minute tape. Turns out cassette production is still a little backed up from the Tsunami hitting Japan. Because of this, we have considered the title "The Japanese Disaster Edition". I think it has a nice ring to it, release-title-wise.

We'll have it available at our show with the Skies Revolt and Spoken Nerd at the End on Wednesday, October 5. And if any copies are left, you can get them the next night at 1318 Little Hamilton when we play with Van Couver (featuring former members of Foxhole, the Tide, the Spats, and Ill Patriot. So a supergroup, basically), Ozenza, and Lights At Sea (Both from Michigan, and both awesome).

Hope you all have tape players.

Let's see if this works...

Okay, per Clark's suggestion, We'll see if soundcloud.com will be able to do what we need to get this thing rolling. But it worries me. It looks like they have upload limitations as well. If I delete an old podcast to make room for the new, will iTunes make a cutting motion with their hands and use an Eastern Bloc accent to say "NO!"

Just trying to figure it out. But in the meantime, I guess you can listen to episode two, recorded way the heck back in April.

Episode Two.
